Dr. Samantha Palermo was born and raised in Massachusetts and has been interested in veterinary medicine from a young age. She has worked in veterinary clinics since high school, where she started as a kennel attendant and worked her way up to veterinary assistant throughout college and veterinary school. She graduated from Endicott College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Biotechnology and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Dr. Palermo is Fear Free Certified and strives to make all visits as stress-free as possible. Professionally, Dr. Palermo enjoys all aspects of general practice, but her special interests include ophthalmology, surgery, dentistry, and feline specific medicine. In her free time, Dr. Palermo enjoys reading and crafting, all things Disney, and spending time with her husband and daughter, two cats (Simba and Kira), black Lab (Baloo), and flock of chickens.
